Why Chewy’s?
It’s simple. It was Matt’s nickname in grade school. Matt’s first grade teacher, Craig Cross, stated that when it was Matt’s turn to introduce himself to the class, he said his name was Matchew. It was then Mr. Cross nicknamed him “Chewy” and it forever stuck. He still has friends and old classmates today that call him Chewy.
